Det blev långt ifrån ett sjöslag av den överhypade fighten mellan Rashad Evans och Quinton Jackson, men förväntningarna blåste liv i en annars ganska entonig fight. En tung träff från ”Sugar” i första ronden och en knapp nedslagning från ”Rampage” i tredje, fick taket att lyfta på MGM Grand. Men fighten handlade mer om taktik och utnyttjande av fördelar, vilket låg i händerna på Evans. Den mindre av de två var även den snabbare, och med låg tyngdpunkt, säkerhetsavstånd och hetsigt fotarbete, fick Jacksom få chanser att visa hur mycket tryck han har i slagen.
